PTA Co-Presidents
Sherri Lamerand: This is Sherri's second year as
co-president. When her oldest son started Kindergarten, Sherri volunteered as room parent. This opportunity opened her eyes to all the extra hands involved in making school a positive experience for children and decided then to help at school whenever possible. Prior to becoming a full-time mom, Sherri worked as a regional manager for a lobbying association. Sherri and her husband, Scott, have 2 sons, 4th and 2nd grade. Sherri can be found running the streets of Palatine with friends, family dinners and cozy movie nights with her boys.
Kristi Svec:
This is Kristi's first year as Co-President. Kristi started volunteering with the PTA 9 years ago when her daughter, Carlee, was in Kindergarten. Since then, she's helped at Fall Fests and Cougar Carnivals, clipped Box Tops, hung pictures in the hallway for Reflections, taken Manna orders, hosted the New Zealand booth for Multicultural Fest, planted flowers and bushes for the Beautification committee, helped at Waste Free Lunches, and been a room parent too many times to count. You may also see her helping in the Resource Center on Monday afternoons. In all of her spare time (ha, ha), she is a Girl Scout troop leader for her younger daughter, Abby, who is in the 4th grade; and she taxis her girls to various after school activities. Kristi and her husband, Chris, enjoy traveling, dancing, and watching movies together; and they love being small group leaders at Harvest Bible Chapel Lake Zurich.

Ways & Means Vice Presidents
Jodi Roos: This is Jodi's first year with Ways and Means and second
year at Pleasant Hill. She and her husband, Rob, have three sons, Braden (2nd
grade), Nathan (1st grade), and Tyler (Preschool). Until Tyler was born, Jodi
worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Over the past few years, she has
enjoyed numerous volunteer opportunities at Holy Family Catholic Academy. Now with
two of her children at PH, she is eager to become even more involved here. In
her free time, Jodi enjoys spending time with family & friends and reading.
Kim Chierico
Membership Vice Presidents
Elizabeth Barker: Elizabeth and her husband, Kevin, moved here from Atlanta. They have two daughters at Pleasant Hill. While Kevin travels the world selling basketball floors, Elizabeth helps out at the school where she can. In her spare time, she likes to cook, read books for book club, play tennis and spend time with her friends and family.
Cindy O'Mara: Cindy is married to Patrick and they have two children at Pleasant Hill. Stephanie is in the 3rd grade and Evan is in Kindergarten. Cindy started volunteering when her daughter entered Pleasant Hill and hasn't stopped. She is now on the Membership Committee, co-chairs the Beautification and Birthday Bulletin Committees. She feels that by joining committees, she is not only helping the school, but is making friends along the way. When not at school, Cindy and her family enjoy biking, camping, skiing, and just about anything that gets them out of the house.
Legislation Vice President
James Carr: James has been a member of the Pleasant Hill PTA for three years and his son Quincy is currently in the 4th grade. His wife Vanessa and he are products of the Illinois public school system and graduates of Bradley University. In his time here at PH, he has served as a room dad and AR volunteer. His goal in this PTA position is to insure that our local membership is aware of any and all pending legislation that may impact the education of our children. James loves to travel, cook and entertain.
